THE PITCH
For my Digital Artefact I intend to produce a YouTube and Instagram account and a blog under the name, ‘Capture By Kayla’. The aim of this ‘brand’ is to provide audiences with insight into the creative process behind content creation, focusing on digitally-visual productions.
The content I publish will include both finished products, such as photos, videos, or graphics as well as snippets into the behind the scenes process, such as screen-recording of edits and blogs describing the locations and experiences attached to various posts. The DA’s social utility is in the way it teaches audiences about how to create and edit productions, meanwhile reminding them that there is more than meets the eye to everything ‘picture perfect’ on social media.
For now, I aim to market towards a 12-25yr old audience, made up of people who are either interested or starting-up in visual production.
